European Companies Learn to Navigate New Wave of Supply Chain Disruptions

Global supply chains never entirely normalized from the chaos of COVID-19. Instead, the supply chain issues that crippled global trade from 2020 to 2022 have been replaced with a new set of disruptions. Thanks to their experiences during the pandemic, large European companies have become much more skilled at overcoming these emerging supply chain challenges. Today, they are managing to work around obstacles to keep businesses running and international trade flowing.

Methodology

Between March and August 2024, Coalition Greenwich conducted 479 interviews with corporates with annual revenues of €500 million or more across Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Nordic countries, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Interview topics included product demand, quality of coverage and capabilities specific to trade finance.
