Executive Summary

While 43% of investors feel that asset managers have met their technology enablement expectations over the past five years, this sentiment is notably more positive among UK and Continental European investors compared to their Asian counterparts.

Methodology

In 2024, Coalition Greenwich undertook a study with institutional investors to assess the latest trends in digital enablement and technology. In Asia and Europe, we interviewed 121 institutional investors to gather in-depth feedback on a range of topics including how well asset managers have delivered on technology against expectations, how investors use client portals, and how AI is anticipated to impact managers’ business processes and operations. Interviews took place between February and September 2024.
